Nerea Ibar
Warlock, Pact of the Chain, custom Undead patron
Nerea Ibar
Species
Vampire
Appearance
Nerea looks like a young woman carved from candle wax and left too close to a cold window. Her short black hair is cut unevenly around her jaw, with one stubborn lock that always points toward the nearest open door. Her mouth is unnaturally wide, its corners extending farther than any human smile should, and black lipstick makes the distortion impossible to ignore. Her eyes are entirely black except for narrow, vivid crimson pupils that contract like knife wounds. Long, sharply pointed ears angle backward through her hair. She wears an arrogant, appraising stare even when frightened, but her hands reveal her mood by trembling almost imperceptibly. Her movements are smooth and predatory until she becomes tired, at which point she walks with the stiff care of a laborer protecting an old injury. The unexpected softness in her appearance is a scatter of tiny flour burns across her fingers from her years working in a bakery.
“Her voice is low, dry, and unexpectedly conversational, with a rough edge inherited from years of shouting over bakery ovens. She speaks in precise Common with occasional Basque-flavored rhythms and clipped street slang.”

Voice
“A low contralto with a dry, smoky texture, as if every sentence has passed through an old bakery chimney. She can make ordinary words sound like accusations and genuine concern sound like a business transaction.”
Clothing
A severe black dress with a broad neckline, a tightly laced black corset, long fitted sleeves, and a skirt reinforced with hidden leather panels. The fabric is matte wool rather than silk, patched beneath the hem with burgundy thread. She wears low boots made for wet cobblestones, fingerless gloves, and a small iron key on a cord around her throat.
Body Language
Nerea holds her chin high and keeps her shoulders perfectly still, as though refusing to let the world see her body react. She turns her head before moving her eyes, watches exits instead of faces, and touches the inner edge of her left wrist whenever someone mentions family. When amused, she leans closer than comfort allows. When genuinely afraid, she becomes completely motionless.
