Biomancer

Biomancers turn psychic force inward and outward through living flesh. Their powers reinforce bone, seal wounds, sharpen reflexes, and push the body beyond its natural limits. The same disciplines can seize muscles, rupture joints, induce spasms, or reduce a foe to helpless agony. Biomancers fight in close quarters, relying on enhanced natural armour, punishing strikes, and carefully rationed Psi Points to endure where ordinary warriors would fall. Some are patient battlefield physicians; others are terrifying flesh-shapers who regard the body as a mechanism to be repaired, strengthened, or dismantled.

Spellcasting & Powers

You remain a full Psyker and continue using Intelligence for Psyker powers. Biomancer features are psychic powers expressed through altered flesh, and they use Psi Points, the Psyker save DC, and the Psyker Psi Die. They do not grant additional spell slots, powers known, or prepared spells beyond the Psyker's normal progression.

Adept Powers

Vector Deflection Redirects attacks through precise psychic control of movement and momentum.
Crushing Field Pins or batters enemies while the Biomancer holds the line.
Neural Overload Disrupts the nervous system of a dangerous close-range opponent.

Master Powers

Original Creation: Reinforce Flesh The target gains temporary Hit Points and advantage on Constitution saving throws for the duration.
Original Creation: Nerve Lock A creature within close range risks losing its movement and Reactions as its muscles seize.
Original Creation: Accelerated Regeneration Restores substantial Hit Points over several rounds but requires concentration.

Transcendent Powers

Original Creation: Living Bulwark Creates a sustained psychic reinforcement that greatly improves one creature's toughness.
Original Creation: Catastrophic Spasm Overloads a target's muscles, causing severe psychic damage and possible incapacitation.
Original Creation: Flesh Transference Moves part of an injury from an ally to the Biomancer, who can then endure or repair it.

Multiclassing

A character multiclassing into Biomancer must already qualify to multiclass into Psyker. Biomancer features use Intelligence, Psi Points, the Psyker save DC, and the Psyker Psi Die. The subclass grants no armour proficiency and does not allow its natural armour feature to function while wearing armour.

Proficiencies

You retain all Psyker proficiencies. You gain no armour proficiency. Biomancers are trained in anatomy, emergency medicine, pain control, close-quarters grappling, and the safe use of psychic force through living tissue.

Training & Initiation

A prospective Biomancer usually begins after surviving a traumatic injury, psychic awakening, or prolonged work among surgeons and battlefield medics. Initiation involves learning to sense one's own organs, nerves, and circulation without losing concentration, followed by controlled exercises that reinforce tissue and induce harmless muscle contractions. The final test requires the candidate to protect a living subject while resisting the urge to reshape it for convenience.

Societal Perception

Ordinary people often approach Biomancers with desperate hope and quiet fear. Their ability to heal makes them welcome in hospitals, armies, and poor districts, but their power to seize muscles or reshape flesh causes many authorities to treat them as potential torturers. A Biomancer's reputation usually depends on whether witnesses remember the healing or the screaming.
