Hook
The only untouched land on Oreth shelters crowded villages, ancient terraces, and a boundary no storm can cross.
Oreth is a world remade by the Long Veil, a sandstorm that covered every land for five years. When the storm ended, nearly all of the planet had become desert, except Safe Haven, a lush mountain plateau untouched by sand or drought. Now caravans cross buried empires, desperate rulers demand access to the Haven, and adventurers uncover evidence that the storm was not natural. Survival depends on water, trust, and deciding what deserves to be restored.
