The Five Marks of Toth's Web

You enter a circular chamber carved into the bones of a ruined tower. Five shallow basins surround a bronze pillar, each basin marked with a simple tattoo-like rune: an eye, a spiral, a split cup, a raised hand, and a rising sun. Dust hangs motionless in the air, yet faint blue light pulses beneath the floor. On the walls, faceless figures pass through five scenes while a crowned shape with too many eyes observes them. The tattoos on your skin grow warm, and somewhere below the stones, a slow heartbeat answers.
