The chamber is dominated by a central brass furnace connected to four translucent vats via glass piping. Inside the tubes, a swirling neon-violet ichor pulses in rhythm with a low, vibrating hum that causes your teeth to ache. Thick iron levers and gold-leafed dials are mounted to a console that reeks of bitter almonds and ancient blood. A massive stone mural on the far wall depicts a figure turning a wheel backward while its shadow moves forward, providing a cryptic backdrop to the hissing steam and clanking gears.
