The Bell Beneath the Last Light
You enter a circular chamber of blue stone where the air tastes sharply of iron and snow. A bronze pedestal stands beneath a domed ceiling of cloudy glass, and three interlocking rings turn with a slow, almost breathing rhythm. Frost crawls across four symbols on each ring. A silent bell hangs beneath the pedestal, while a cracked panel of glass bears a poem in silver letters. Whenever anyone approaches, the chamber answers with a faint chime that stops just before the final note.
