Tomaš Oros
Fighter 6, Battle Master
Tomaš Oros
Species
Half-Orc
Appearance
Tomaš Oros is a broad-shouldered half-orc with the weathered, workworn look of someone carved more by labor than by battle. His skin is a deep mossy gray with olive undertones, scarred by old burns and rope-bite marks that have healed into pale ridges across his forearms and collar. One tusk is neatly capped in brass after a childhood accident, while the other is chipped and left bare. His black hair is shaved on the sides and kept in a long, carefully oiled braid threaded with copper wire and tiny river stones. He moves with the deliberate economy of a veteran dock foreman, but when startled he is unexpectedly graceful, almost balletic, as if his body remembers a life of song and dance he no longer admits to. He smells faintly of lamp oil, wet iron, and crushed mint.
“Low and rough, with the careful diction of someone who learned to read late and then never forgot the embarrassment of it. He speaks with the cadence of river workers and guild clerks mixed together, often ending hard truths with a practical offer instead of a threat.”

Distinguishing Features
A brass cap on his right tusk etched with tiny ledger marks
A long scar across his back that he jokes was given by a falling crate, though it was actually from the warehouse fire
A soot-blackened prayer bead tied into his braid
One hand with knuckles swollen and knotted from years of hammering and fighting
A faint half-circle burn on his left palm shaped like a lantern cup
Voice
“A gravelly baritone with a restrained, dry warmth that surfaces only when he trusts someone.”
Clothing
A dark wool coat reinforced with hidden leather panels, a dockmaster's sash patched at the seams, iron-buckled boots with salt-stained soles, and a faded blue scarf his mother made from two different fabrics because that was all she had
Body Language
He stands with one shoulder slightly forward, as if always bracing against a current. In conversation he keeps his hands visible and still, then suddenly uses one precise gesture to emphasize a point. When angry, he does not shout at first, he goes very quiet and blinks less often.
