Appearance
Khal-Zur is a towering god of ash and ruin who looks forged from black volcanic glass and veins of living magma. His body is humanoid, but every slow movement reveals that he is not flesh so much as an argument between collapse and renewal. Cracks run over his chest, throat, and forearms like a shattered kiln, each seam glowing with a deep furnace-red light. A mantle of soot, cinder, and charred feathers drifts around him as if forever caught in a private storm. At first glance he seems like a war-god of devastation, but his expression is calm and almost sorrowful, and a single perfect white lily grows from the ash at his feet wherever he stands, an unsettling contradiction that makes him feel less like a destroyer and more like the keeper of necessary endings.
“His words are slow, resonant, and deliberate, like stone settling after an earthquake. He rarely uses contractions, and every sentence sounds like a decree from a forge-temple at dusk.”

Distinguishing Features
A crown of floating ember fragments that rearranges itself when he speaks.
A white lily that blooms in ash wherever he lingers for more than a minute.
Hands like black glass with glowing seams beneath the knuckles.
One eye of molten gold and one of dimmer coal-red, as if he has seen both mercy and inevitability.
A faint scent of rain on hot stone surrounds him even in cold places.
Voice
“A deep, volcanic baritone with a second softer resonance beneath it, as if a choir sings under every syllable.”
Clothing
A mantle of layered ash-cloth, blackened ceremonial armor banded in molten-gold seams, and a fractured crown of hovering ember shards above his brow. His robes are immaculate despite the soot, as though ruin itself refuses to dirty him.
Body Language
Still as cooled lava, with infrequent precise gestures that feel like a verdict being written. When he is moved, his fingers open and close as if testing the shape of an invisible furnace door.
