Sister Ghesh Vaelith
Cleric 13
Sister Ghesh Vaelith
Species
Chromavaft
Appearance
Sister Ghesh is a slender, upright chromavaft with iridescent skin that seems woven from mica, oil-slick glass, and moonlit water. Her body catches light in moving bands, so that every step looks like a page turning. She wears a severe abbess's habit of black wool over a polished breastplate that glows faintly from within, a combination that should look absurd but somehow feels ceremonial and imposing. The hood frames a narrow face with a cracked silver prayer-mask set to one side, leaving one eye and one cheek exposed like a deliberate act of defiance against symmetry. Her movements are measured and quiet, except when angered, when she becomes unnervingly swift and birdlike, as if the whole body had been waiting for permission to strike.
“Measured, ceremonial, and quietly piercing, with occasional dry humor that lands like a lit match in a tomb..”

Distinguishing Features
A prayer-mask cracked through one eye socket.
A line of pale scars running from throat to sternum, like a seam stitched by light.
Her shadow occasionally appears one heartbeat behind her.
A ring of tiny bells in her sleeves that never seem to ring unless she is lying.
Voice
“Low, careful, and resonant, as if every sentence has been lit from within and then allowed to cool.”
Clothing
A black habit layered over lacquered half-plate, prayer cords braided with tiny glass beads, fingerless gloves, and a collar of mirrored scales worn as both symbol and armor.
Body Language
Still as a reliquary when listening, then suddenly precise in motion, with hands that gesture like a cleric blessing wounds and a surgeon planning an incision.
