Emberglass Spear

This spear is built around a dark shaft wrapped tightly in cured dragonhide and lacquered bindings that shimmer like scale plates in the light. Its head is a blade of magically reinforced obsidian, glass-black at the edges and pulsing with a faint red glow from within, as if banked coals burn beneath the stone. When gripped, the weapon feels warm but never hot, and a thin ribbon of heat trails behind its strikes.
