Solar Spiral Signet

The Solar Spiral Signet is a palm-sized disc of flawless black obsidian mounted in a cracked frame of tarnished silver. Its face bears a spiral sun whose shallow grooves glimmer faintly with amber light when exposed to dawn. Pressed into wax, clay, or soft mud, it leaves an impossibly sharp impression of the spiral sun, including details too fine to have been carved by mortal hands. The seal is warm when held beneath open sunlight and cold when brought near the sealed inner sanctum of Thornvale.
